How do I determine the right size for my Suzuki?

It depends on the manufacturer and model. In the size finder, you select both and receive a recommendation for your Suzuki’s factory condition. Typical add-ons and modifications are also stored there. If your model is missing, send us a personal size inquiry via the request form.

How much does the sun affect the paint on my Suzuki GSX-R 750?

If the GSX-R 750 stands in the sun for a long time, UV radiation hits the paint and plastic unhindered. The shine fades, and plastic parts become brittle. The UV-resistant coating of the cover shields the radiation before it reaches the fairing.

Will a storm blow the motorcycle cover off my Suzuki?

In strong winds, the two firmly sewn-in securing straps hold the motorcycle cover to the vehicle; you close them at the bottom of the motorcycle with a clip. Then there is the fit: the tighter it sits, the less surface area it offers the wind. Park it away from the wind if possible.

What happens to the chrome and bolts on my Suzuki GSX1400 after months of standing?

They will get through just fine if covered while dry. The motorcycle cover is waterproof and its seams are double-sealed. This keeps the chrome and bolts of your GSX1400 protected for months, no matter how wet it gets outside. The ventilation zones at the mirrors help prevent condensation and thus rust.

What should I use to clean the cover without damaging the coating?

A soft sponge and clear water are sufficient; you only need cleaners for stubborn dirt. Then hang it up to air dry. Fabric softeners and washing machines are not compatible with it. We carry suitable cleaning and waterproofing agents in our shop.

Will a protective cover also fit over the long rear section of my Suzuki Hayabusa?

The long rear of the Hayabusa is taken into account. That is exactly why the cover is available in several lengths, but it is not just the rear that matters, but the overall fit. You can determine which size fits your machine in just a few clicks using our size finder.

How soon after a ride can I cover my Suzuki?

Not immediately; wait until all parts are lukewarm to the touch before using the motorcycle cover. Otherwise, hot headers can damage it. Suzuki’s large-volume four-cylinder engines take a little longer to cool down. After rain or washing, let it dry first.

Will anything rub against the paint of my Suzuki GSX-S 750 while it is covered?

No, nothing will rub. Inside, a soft fleece protects the paint and chrome. Outside, the robust material keeps dirt and moisture away from the GSX-S 750. Rinse off coarse dirt beforehand, otherwise it will move with the cover when you take it off.

Should I secure my motorcycle with a lock when the Suzuki cover is on?

Exactly, that’s why there are reinforced openings in the cover at the front and rear near the tires. There are no plastic or aluminum rings there. You thread an ABUS lock through them, so the cover and machine are secured together. No one can get to your motorcycle without opening the lock.

Can my Suzuki SV650 survive the winter outside, or does it belong in the garage?

Yes, it works well outside. That is what the outdoor motorcycle cover is built for; it protects against moisture, snow, and road salt. If the SV650 is already stored dry in a hall, the indoor motorcycle cover is sufficient. Cover it while dry, and it will be clean and ready in the spring.

Will the cover slide up on the motorcycle?

Nothing will slide up. An elastic band at the bottom of the wheels holds it at the front and rear. In addition, there are two adjustable straps that you close with a clip under the vehicle. The most important factor here is the right size.

Does the top case on my Suzuki V-Strom 650 change the required size of the motorcycle cover?

A top case changes the height at the rear. The cover is available in many sizes specifically for such modifications. In addition to the factory condition of the V-Strom 650, typical add-ons and modifications are stored in the size finder. If yours is not listed, ask us for the size via the inquiry form.
