Customer Champion – E-commerce Customer Service with AI Skills, Remote

Who We Are

Since 2020, MYCOVER® has stood for high-quality Motorcycle Covers in the premium segment – developed in Lüneburg, valued throughout Europe. Through our online shop, we distribute to more than 20 European countries, always in close exchange with an active community of real Motorcycle riders.

Today, our core team consists of two people, complemented by a well-coordinated network of freelancers with whom we collaborate daily. Our aspiration: to be the leading destination for motorcycle protection in Europe. To achieve this, we are now growing strategically – you will be part of this growth phase and actively shape how we develop as a brand and a team.

What This Role Is Really About

We are not looking for a classic support agent who merely processes tickets. We are looking for someone who will actively help shape our customer service, make it smarter, and automate it with us.

You will work directly at the interface of customer communication, product development, and AI-driven process optimization. This is precisely where the most exciting levers lie for a growing e-commerce brand.

If you ride a motorcycle yourself or are interested in the scene: You will love this role. You will immerse yourself daily in a community that lives its passion and help shape how we interact with it.

Rule of thumb: You’ll spend about half your time in direct contact with our customers. The other half you’ll use to build better processes, smarter workflows, and AI-driven automations based on these insights.

No phone. No call center. Only well-thought-out written communication.

Your Responsibilities

Customer Communication (approx. 10 hrs/week)

  • Independent processing of customer inquiries via our ticket system (Replyco) and Amazon Seller Central, exclusively in writing – with our commitment to provide a first response within 24 hours on weekdays
  • Order management and problem solving via WooCommerce, Billbee, and Amazon
  • Individual size and product consultation for over 2,500 vehicle models
  • Proactive communication: not just reacting, but thinking ahead and delighting customers
  • Processing inquiries from across the EU, primarily in German, French, English, Italian, and Spanish. Thanks to AI-powered tools, you can also handle inquiries in languages you don’t speak

Process Optimization & AI Automation (approx. 10 hrs/week)

  • Collaboration in the use of AI tools (together with the team): automating standard processes, reducing manual tasks, and integrating smart solutions into daily work
  • Contribution to optimizing existing support processes and workflows
  • Systematic collection of customer feedback and contribution to concrete suggestions for product and process improvements (CIP)
  • Collaboration in the development of new products, directly from dialogue with the community

What You Bring

Must-haves

  • Excellent written communication skills in German (C2 level or comparable)
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Attention to detail: You spot typos at first glance and formulate precisely
  • Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
  • Genuine enjoyment in dealing with people, even when things get tricky
  • Openness and enthusiasm for AI tools: You see artificial intelligence as an opportunity to make processes smarter and are eager to actively try out new things
  • Basic technical competence: Proficient in web-based applications
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and topics

Nice-to-haves

  • Affinity for two-wheelers (Motorcycles, Scooters, including types, modifications, and accessories). Those who ride themselves understand our customers even better
  • Experience in customer service or e-commerce. Career changers with the right attitude are expressly welcome
  • Initial experience with automation or AI tools (e.g., Make, Zapier, GPT-based workflows, Notion)
  • Knowledge of WooCommerce, Billbee, Amazon Seller Central, or ticket systems (e.g., Replyco, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Additional language skills, especially French, Italian, or Spanish, are a real plus, but not a must thanks to AI
  • Experience in process optimization or quality management (CIP)

What We Offer

  • Part-time position with 20 hrs/week, permanent
  • 100% Remote: Work from wherever you feel most comfortable, or come to us in Lüneburg
  • Flexible working hours: You manage your own daily schedule – regular availability from Monday to Friday is important.
  • Compensation: €15–17/hour gross to start, depending on relevant professional experience in customer service or e-commerce, with clear upward development prospects
