Which Outdoor Chopper Covers size is the right one for my chopper?
Our Outdoor Chopper Covers are available in over 30 sizes, specially developed for long machines, wide handlebars and conversions. Use the size finder to find the right cover for over 2,000 models, whether with a sissy bar, high windshield or short license plate holder.
For conversions we recommend: Use our recommendation as a starting point and compare it with the actual dimensions of your Chopper.
Why does the MYCOVER Premium Outdoor Chopper Covers cost more than other covers?
Because it doesn’t play along with compromises. Most Chopper Covers only offer simple rain protection often with thin fabric, poor fit and no long-term protection.
The MYCOVER® Premium Outdoor Chopper Tarpaulin was developed out of frustration with just such weaknesses: with 300D fabric, double nano-coating, soft inner fleece, reflectors and over 10 protective functions, especially for large, long and individually converted machines.
Conclusion: Not a cheap solution, but a Chopper Cover Outdoor that delivers what others promise.
What’s new with the MYCOVER® Outdoor Chopper Covers new?
We have listened to your feedback and incorporated it into the new generation of our outdoor chopper tarpaulin:
- No heat protection, only soft inner fleece: For sensitive paintwork, coated exhausts and special paintwork and 100 % scratch protection, without the risk of rigid coatings.
- Stowable seat belts: Four extra Velcro pockets on the inside so that nothing rubs against the paintwork when pulling them on. Belts can then be easily released and fastened.
- Charging cable openings (2x): Practical for Choppers with alarm systems, there are lockable openings on both sides for your battery charging cable. Charging without removing the tarpaulin!

Why does an outdoor chopper tarpaulin need a license plate window?
Because it is required by law: According to § 10 Para. 2 FZV and § 23 Para. 1 StVO, your license plate must remain visible even under a Chopper Cover Outdoor, otherwise you may receive a warning.
Our MYCOVER® chopper cover therefore has an integrated viewing window: inconspicuously sewn, legally secure and visually sophisticated.
Does an outdoor Chopper Cover protect against theft?
An outdoor chopper tarpaulin alone does not prevent theft, but it makes it much more difficult. The MYCOVER® Chopper Covers protect against prying eyes and provide security openings on the front and rear wheels for your motorcycle lock.
In combination with a high-quality ABUS lock, this provides effective theft protection, for peaceful nights and a protected Motorcycle.
Does the Chopper cover protect against scratches?
Yes, the soft inner fleece of the MYCOVER® Covers reliably protects paintwork, mirrors and sensitive components from scratches. Important: The Chopper should be clean before putting it on so that dirt particles do not cause friction damage.
Tip: Clean briefly, put on the tarpaulin and ensure that your machine retains its value.
What is the best way to put the chopper cover on my chopper?
Your Outdoor Chopper Covers will fit perfectly:
- Start at the front: Spread out the tarpaulin, pull it over the mirrors and handlebars, then put it over the front wheel.
- Spread out in the middle: Place the chopper cover over the seat and tank.
- Secure at the rear: Pull over the license plate and rear wheel – done.
Thanks to the reinforced handles and precise cut, they can be pulled on quickly and without tangling, even on large machines.
What prevents the Outdoor Chopper cover from being blown away by the wind?
The MYCOVER® Chopper cover fits securely: two safety straps at the front and rear and an elastic hem ensure optimum hold, even in gusts of wind.
The precisely fitting shape prevents flapping, reduces friction on the paintwork and protects against the risk of tipping. This keeps your outdoor Chopper Cover where it belongs.
How do I look after the Chopper protective tarpaulin properly?
Clean your outdoor chopper tarpaulin with lukewarm water only, without detergent, so as not to damage the double nano-coating.
To dry: do not lay on the floor. It is better to hang it over two chairs or a line, without sharp clips. Carefully wipe the viewing window in particular, as it is sensitive to scratches.
Tip: For additional protection after cleaning, we recommend using a high-quality waterproofing agent to make the Cover even more resistant to rain and weather.
How do I get the Outdoor Chopper tarpaulin neatly back into the transport bag?
Before you stow away your Chopper Covers, make sure that they are completely dry and clean, otherwise there is a risk of mold or material damage.
Important: Do not fold over the viewing window or the ventilation openings. When folding, start at the license plate opening, roll up the chopper tarpaulin evenly and place it in the supplied transport bag.

What should I look out for when comparing outdoor chopper covers?
Not every Chopper Cover Outdoor provides reliable protection. Pay attention to these features when comparing them:

Can I pull the chopper cover over a warm exhaust immediately after riding?
Our recommendation: Let the exhaust cool down for a few minutes before you cover the chopper cover.
Even if many Covers are equipped with heat protection material, moisture can still evaporate at very high temperatures (e.g. directly after riding) and penetrate the material, which can lead to damage in the long term.
We have also deliberately dispensed with hard heat protection material in our chopper sizes in order to better protect sensitive paintwork and exhaust systems.
For the best value retention of your chopper: Maintain briefly – then protect.

Can I leave my Chopper outside for the winter with Covers?
Yes, the MYCOVER® Outdoor Covers are ideal for year-round outdoor use, even in winter.
Thanks to double nano-coating, weather-resistant materials and a soft, paint-friendly inner lining, your Chopper is reliably protected from rain, frost, snow, UV radiation and dirt.
It is important to ensure good ventilation and a dry tarpaulin to avoid condensation and mold.

Does the chopper tarpaulin also provide protection in strong sunlight?
Yes, the MYCOVER® Outdoor Covers have integrated UV protection.
